Who Are We?
we are a movement of college students dedicated to knowing Christ Jesus and making him known. We meet on campus in various group sizes and settings. We also meet in the XA house [located across the street from the front entrance of CSUS]. These gathering are informal and purposed to collectively experience the power and presence of God through prayer, worship, and relevant teaching. We believe, expect, and experience the love of God through His truth, His people, His miracles, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We are focused on transforming our world locally and around the globe through experiencing the supernatural. We love and embrace diverse ethnicities with an expressed focus on an international student community that best represents the kingdom of God.
A Student Family
Locally, our chapter is called Stanislaus Christian Fellowship, Chi Alpha [SCFXA]. Our roots can be traced to 1976 as a student movement. Our family is now made up of California State University, Stanislaus and Modesto Junior College.

What Are We About?
Relationships to each other and to God. It is our strong desire to serve the campus community and to allow for the blessings that come from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to be extended through us, on earth as it is in heaven.
Our two primary goals on campus are: to present the biblical Christian worldview to college students by the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit and the accurate teaching of God’s word. Also, to build a collegiate community that strengthens daily Christian living.
A Student Movement
We are on over 250 campuses here in the U.S. and are active on college campuses in over 40 nations of the world. “chi alpha” [derived from the Greek letters Chi (x) and Alpha (a)] is taken from a phrase written by the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:20 that declares the children of God to be Christ’s ambassadors. |
